This event is a perfect opportunity for our campus community to explore a wide range of health resources, learn valuable wellness skills, and connect with local experts. Whether you're looking to improve your fitness routine, learn about mental health resources, or simply have fun, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a sneak peek at what each area of campus will be offering!
Wellness in the Commons: Metro U Undergrad Experience
The Wellness Fair in the Commons will feature activities and resources tailored for undergraduate students, focusing on developing balanced, healthy habits during college. Highlights include:
- Healthy Meal Search: Our nutrition team will challenge you to find healthy meal options at various Metro U dining facility listings.
- Fitness Challenge Stations: Students can try out various fitness challenges, from mini boot camps to circuit training, designed to fit into busy schedules and dorm spaces.
- Mental Health & Mindfulness Zones: Drop by for yoga sessions, guided meditation, and stress-relief tips. Representatives from the counseling center will also be on hand to discuss mental health resources available on campus.
- Student Group Showcase: Health-related student organizations will be present to share their activities and opportunities for involvement, encouraging undergrads to make wellness a part of their college experience.
Graduate Student Hub: Health & Wellness for Advanced Academics
In the Graduate Student Hub, the Wellness Fair will provide tools and resources for managing the unique pressures of graduate life. Activities will include:
- Wellness Workshops: Graduate students can attend workshops on managing stress, staying active, and finding a healthy work-life balance. Experts will cover topics like mindfulness, productivity, and emotional resilience.

The Faculty and Staff Wellness Center will focus on resources that support healthy work-life integration, making it easier for our staff and faculty to thrive in both their personal and professional lives. Offerings include:
- Mindful Work-Life Balance Workshops: Faculty and staff can join sessions on managing stress, prioritizing self-care, and building routines that promote productivity without burnout.
- Physical Wellness Screenings: Free health assessments, including blood pressure checks, BMI measurements, and posture screenings, will be available to help staff track their wellness goals.
- Group Fitness Sessions: Join a group fitness class, such as yoga, Pilates, or strength training, tailored to fit into busy schedules. Each session will be designed to reduce stress and energize participants.
